Your stay can be as varied as you like, from walking in some of the most spectacular scenery, fishing or golf to leisurely shopping and bargain hunting in the local markets of the surrounding towns. Kendal is a few minutes, Windermere about twenty minutes and Kirkby Lonsdale about the same. We have an abundance of wildlife here including a family of kingfishers on the river so keep a look out for a brilliant blue flash!
